A challenge of recycling waste water (for both closed soilless or open soil systems) is the increased risk of water-borne diseases contaminating crops, making waste water disinfection an integral part of the process.

* In-Line Salt-Less chlorine generation technology by Ecoline™ (converting natural minerals existing in the water [particularly Chlorides] into sodium hypochlorite) for water with TDS[1] 500 mg/L or more (fresh water);

* Off-Line chlorine generation from brine by Chlorogen™ (generation of 0.4% or 0.8% sodium hypochlorite from brine/salt or directly from sea water if available) for water with low TDS[1] and Cl- content[2].
