Australian Innovative Systems has had over 30 years experience in the salt-water chlorination industry. A world leader, the company has long enjoyed a history of success and innovation, pioneering the industry since change of ownership in 1992. AIS is now renowned for its high quality products, competitive prices, fast delivery times and dedicated service, the company has distributors throughout Australia as well as partners serving markets all around the globe.
Over the years, AIS has made significant technological breakthroughs within their Autochlor™ product range, making the product not only world class, but in many cases a world first.
Based on product obsolescence within a five-year period, the company’s technological philosophy corresponds with the minimum lifespan of the electrodes of the chlorine generators.
This philosophy lead to the development of the now well-established and proactive Research and Development team, which since 1994, has introduced three generations of products.

| Further development in programming and hardware enabled the residential Autochlor™ SM to operate in water with a salinity concentration of up to 3.5% |
Further development in programming and hardware enabled the residential Autochlor™ SM to operate in water with a salinity concentration of up to 3.5% compared with the industry standard of 0.7%, and up to 36% in the commercial series. This development encourages water efficiency, making it environmentally friendly.
Sea-water and any other salt concentration becomes instantly acceptable using this unique development. The electrode-cell and an ultra sensitive electronic control board actually senses the amount of salt in the water and adjusts the cell voltage automatically without affecting the programmed level of chlorine output. It should be noted that sea water near the shore ranges up to 2.7%, which makes the water along the shoreline appropriate for use in pools.

New Toroidal transformers replaced the older EI type in most Autochlor™ AC /RP series chlorine generators with the output up to 25 AMP, including units with 12V underwater light options.
Advantages over EI transformer:
· Compact and lightweight; reduced freight cost
· Low-Stray Magnetic Field: Toroids emit very low radiated magnetic fields
· Low Mechanical Hum: No laminations or bolts that can loosen over time and generate audible buzzing noise
· High Efficiency: 15%-30% more energy efficient
· Low Operating Temperature: dissipates heat much quicker |
